Paradigm employees make up some of the best minds in the sciences underlying oil and gas exploration and production.  The next free opportunity to take advantage of this expertise will be the webcast on November 10. The title of this presentation is “Determine Stress and Fractures from Seismic Imaging for HD Delineation of the Sweet Spot.”

Seismic data provides valuable information in different stages of shale play exploration and production. Kashif Shaukat will focus on Paradigm EarthStudy 360 and the unique strengths of this full-azimuth imaging technology.  This tool provides higher definition information about stress and fractures than standard sectored workflows, directly from prestack seismic data. Kashif  will also demonstrate how decomposition of the seismic data into two unique prestack gather datasets also enables the imaging specialist to directly image discontinuities never previously visible at seismic resolution.
Featured technology: EarthStudy 360®

Don’t miss the last two webcasts in this series:

  • December 1:Illumination as an Interpreter’s Tool to Validate Seismic in a Complex Environment
  • December 15: Advanced Stratigraphic Investigation: Empowering Interpretation with QSI
