Paradigm will present a multi-disciplinary program tailored to the challenges facing today's energy industry, at the 2015 AAPG Annual Convention & Exhibition, May 31 - June 3, in Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. Conference attendees are invited to join Paradigm at booth #1022 for live demonstrations featuring the latest innovations that help fuel global energy programs.

Early assessment of facies distribution using elastic properties and AVO analysis provides an accurate estimation of reservoir distribution and heterogeneities.

We have assembled a multi-disciplinary program for all geoscientists aimed at preparing them to meet the challenges facing the energy industry. They will learn to achieve increased productivity, while mitigating environmental and economic risk, through high definition workflows.

Our geoscience team will reveal the latest innovations fueling global energy programs, with a special focus on:

  • Unconventional Resource Plays

  • Formation Evaluation and Unconventional Resource Plays: Total Organic Carbon (TOC) determination from well logs through petrophysical shale analysis

  • Quantitative Seismic Interpretation for Unconventional Resource Plays

  • Advances in Delineation of Hydraulic Fractures from Micro Seismic

  • Optimizing Well Placement, Spacing and Production Forecasts

  • Geology & Geophysics (Structure, Correlation, Trends, Detection)

  • Integrating Geologic Correlation, Structural Characterization and Property Mapping

  • Detecting Facies Trends and Heterogeneity through Integrating Wells, Seismic and Conceptual Geology

  • Advanced Natural Fracture Detection through High Definition Subsurface Modeling

  • Enhanced delineation of carbonate reservoirs based on multi-attribute seismic facies classification and well log correlation

Paradigm is again proud to be a Gold Level sponsor of the 2015 American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Imperial Barrel Award Program (IBA). The AAPG IBA program is a scholarship program aimed at supporting geoscience students.  Paradigm provides participating universities with licenses, training and support of Paradigm software. This empowers students with the tools they need to complete a technical assessment of field hydrocarbon potential, from seismic interpretation, geological modeling and petrophysics to reservoir engineering and risk assessment.
