Register for the last two sessions of the Paradigm 2014 Virtual Lecture Series presented on January 29 and February 12. In the January 29th session Melanie Morin, Technical Sales Advisor, discusses “Improved Production Forecasts: Impact of Reservoir Compartmentalization on Flow Response,” highlighting SKUA®.  On February 12th, Sandra Allwork, Team Leader and Technical Sales Advisor, will present “Looking for Higher Definition? From Broadband Processing to Diffraction Imaging. Extract the Maximum from Your Modern and Legacy Seismic Data,” featuring Echos and EarthStudy 360. Here are summaries of both sessions:

“Improved Production Forecasts: Impact of Reservoir Compartmentalization on Flow Response”
Putting geology in Reservoir Engineering is one of the greatest challenges the Paradigm Dynamic Reservoir Modeling Solution is taking up to deliver the most accurate results at a fraction of the time and cost of other methods in any geological context.  This presentation will demonstrate how the unique integrated approach of the SKUA Reservoir Engineering Solution allows geoscientists and reservoir engineers to efficiently build different reservoir models in a compressive environment, understand their dynamic behavior, and optimize field development, while yielding geologically sound production forecasts.

Looking for Higher Definition? From Broadband Processing to Diffraction Imaging, Extract the Maximum from Your Modern and Legacy Seismic Data
Whether trying to recover lost frequencies or compensate for irregular illumination, today's processing workflows are all about extracting the maximum information from seismic data to optimize the integrity of later stages of the workflow. With Paradigm® Echos®, we discuss the benefits of deghosting and 5D regularization for achieving higher definition images. We also extend the topic to discuss the generation of HD diffraction images in the Local Angle Domain using Paradigm EarthStudy 360®.

Stay tuned for the 2015 Virtual Lecture Series beginning in early March.  These virtual lectures will be based on highly rated Paradigm SEG presentations.  They will provide a first-hand look at the latest high definition-enabled G&G software solutions available in Paradigm 14 and 14.1., including advanced global interpretation and modeling as a solution to the seismic interpretation correlation challenge, and applications for efficient characterization of shale resource plays.
